Well, the sun is (literally) setting on my spring vacation, and it was not at all as productive as I’d hoped—at least in the way I expected. On the other hand, it went really well:
I reconnected with my old friend Nimbus.
I got to visit with my folks and a couple from Japan I’d known as a kid and hadn’t seen in 28 years.
I finished a Lego kit I got at Christmas.
Sorted out some old T-Shirts for donation.
Watched The Simpsons Movie (finally!)
Got a lot of art done—including the pencils for the next, extra sized strip in my long-delayed webcomic, pencils for three more images from another series I’ve been working on, several smaller drawings and three MugShots (close up pictures of favorite characters). It feels good all that done. I just hope I can keep up the momentum once I have to fit it in around work and all the stuff I didn’t do this week.
That’s it for now—hopefully there will continue to be more art and also more entries here in the future.
